Perhaps someone can help me with something I've been curious about.
Between 2008 and the Toonami revival in 2012 was there a time when Adult Swim stopped airing anime completely? I stopped watching when they scheduled Code Geass really, really late at night and I remember the general kerfuffle of that at the time and I have heard that there was a time when they stopped airing anime completely before the Toonami revival but I can't find confirmation of this.
So perhaps someone with a better memory of this can tell me?

Now, bear in mind that this only gives years, and some start/stop dates, so there could have been weeks/months in which there were gaps, but according to Wikipedia's "List of programs broadcast by Adult Swim", here's how it breaks down (specifically for the 2008-2012 time period). I have not included shows that began in 2012 specifically as part of the Toonami lineup:
Series that ended in 2008:
Astro Boy (2007-2008)
The Big O Season 1 (2003-2008)
Eureka Seven (2006-2008, returned for 1 run in 2012-2013)
Paranoia Agent (5/28/2005-7/4/2008)
Samurai Champloo (2005-9/18/2008)
Trinity Blood (9/9/2006-2008)
Series/movies that aired between 2008-2012:
Bleach: Memories of Nobody (9/5/2009)
Bleach: Diamond Dust Rebellion (12/5/2009)
Blood+ (3/11/2007-12/14/2009)
Code Geass (2008-10/25/2008, rights expired 4/23/2010)
Code Geass R2 (11/1/2008-6/6/2009, rights expired 4/23/2010)
Death Note (2007-7/6/2008, returned in late 2008-2010)
FMA (11/6/2004-2010)
FMA: Brotherhood (2/13/2010-12/13/2014)
Kekkaishi (5/29/2010-5/2012)
Moribito (8/23/2008-2011)
Shin-Chan (2006-9/1/2009)
Series that ran before, during, and after:
Bleach (9/9/2006-2/2015)
The Big O Season 2 (2003-2015)
Cowboy Bebop (9/2/2001-2013)
FLCL (2003-2015, never a constant at only 6 episodes)
GitS:SAC (2004-2015)
GitS:SAC 2nd Gig (2005-2/2015)
InuYasha (8/31/2002-3/2/2014)
So, as you can see, while getchman was right that Bleach kept going, there was never even a period where it was the only series being shown, since they had at least reruns of a number of other series going, plus a number of series that either started just before or during the time period, and ended sometime during it.

So in other words it wasn't a particularly a hot time for anime on Adult Swim, but there was never a point in which they gave up on it completely, that's good to know.
Thanks a lot Dessa!

Point of clarification: Dessa's list left out Durarara!!, which had its initial run from 25 June 2011 to 17 December 2011 and was in the middle of reruns when the changeover to Toonami happened.

Oops, not sure how I missed that one, and it was right next to Death Note on the list, too...
