You're not a professional Pokemon player until you can make a living doing it. Until then, you're just a gamer.

But more seriously, Pokemon doesn't currently give out enough prize money to make a living off tournament winnings alone. It's far away from the multi million dollar prizes that games like Dota 2 give out. All but maybe the top 4 in the world or so lose money over the season. Right now people play just for the title or for fun rather than the money.

Was thinking more along the lines of putting her in senior citizen home but.....
