There are a few I could've gone with for number one, Non Non Biyori and Snow White with the Red Hair being a couple of those. But, have to go with WORKING!!! Since, more than likely, this will be adapting the actual end of the manga, it's gotta be number 1 for me!

Also there's Gansta this season.

Im actually really excited for Junjo Romantically 3 Anime hyper It's Yaoi, but keeps it classy and doesn't show anything XP I'm not surprised thats so high up on the girls list Anime hyper

I'm excited for Gangsta too, and I really want to hear someone say the word "Gangsta" in a thick Japanese accent :p

Given DRRR's success, I think that Aniplex USA would want to do another broadcast dub. However, I would expect that to be at least 4 weeks after the Japanese version starts.

Really surprised Ranpo Kitan wasn't ranked. The staff for that is unbelievable. That's where my vote goes, mainly because I really love Amazarashi and Seiji Kishi works.

But its so weird seeing first hand how different in popularity P.A. Works is here to in Japan. P.A. Works beat Ufotable, Madhouse, Sunrise, and I.G. in terms of Japanese dvd and blu ray sales last year. Although that is probably because of Shirobako and Nagi no Asukara. I am really excited for Charlotte though. Animation looks great, Story sounds interesting, music sounds [expletive] incredible, and I believe Seiji Kishi is involved somehow too. If Kitan wasn't coming out this would be my #1

You chose well with Durarara!!×2 Ten Japan but i expected Dragon Ball Z Gt Kai to go higher. Weird but the manga ended for me when Goku married and walked into the sunset. What´s a Saiyan? I don´t know....
The season looks to be a rather mediocre affair with a lot of porn padding. I call it the summer of hard Cool. Well there is always the next season. Let´s see if an original dark horse shows up.

Keep an eye on Ranpo Kitan, could be amazing, especially with the people behind it. The staff is especially promising and the studio is currently doing Assassination Classroom, which is an incredible adaptation. Add in Your Lie In April composer, Arslan Senki scripter, Angel Beats director and Amazarashi on the op, its could be anime of the year material, i just don't understand why nobody seems to pay any attention to it.
There is also another Lerche work which is being written by Nitroplus (people who made Saya no Uta) and i've heard the manga is fairly messed up, so that could be great too

I don't know why this one keeps getting overlooked. I've been following it pretty closely, and still somehow managed to forget about it.

I realise I might be a minority here, but I though the 1st cour of Durarara!! x2 was overall pretty decent.

I think most people really enjoyed the new season of Durarara. The loud minority is lingering in the comments. The poll even says so.

I am a big Durarara!! fan, and I do not think the first cour of season 2 was bad; it was just not as good as season 1.

Its one of those series that has almost no talk behind it and i think why is Lerche. Personally, thats one of my main reasons for my hype, I think they are an incredible studio, and although their art style is very normal, i prefer there art style over an original one that has god knows how many derps an episode. Really looking forward to it

Next season looks pretty dire and like the otaku that likely voted in this poll (I think it's Newtype one isn't it) are just voting for the popular sequels I guess. Though when the most anticipated shows of the season are the 2nd sequels to a show you had trouble getting into and one of the dullest shows you've ever tried to watch respectively you know there's a wide gap in interests. If I'm being honest again though the only shows I'm even kind of interested in checking out just to see if they're worth it are God Eater, Akagami no Shirayuki-Hime, Gangsta, Dragon Ball Super (Which is not a late night show and stands to reason is why it did not make these lists) and surprisingly Kangoku Gakuen (largely because it actually stands out) and all of those are 50/50 at best and pure tryouts as to whether I would keep following them and really dependent on a number of factors like staying interesting and not having the animation quality bottom out which has been a growing concern lately.

Yeah though summer is usually a season of sequels and a LOT of 3rd and even beyond (Teekyu 5) seasons of shows I just either never got into (i.e Durarara, Working, Miss Monochrome, Prisma Ilya) or weren't good enough the first time around (i.e Symphogear, Gatchaman Crowds, To Love Ru, Idolmaster) for me to keep being interested in.

It really does get me just how many shows are in their 3rd season though here and how Summer really comes down to that and yet there's not a single one of those sequels I'm interested in. Just very stagnant looking season like nobody really had any good ideas, but we'll see, there's usually one show that flies under my radar.

Even if the TV front looks bad for Summer though there are some interesting looking Movies and OVAs coming out. Ghost in The Shell gets it's first new movie in quite a while and appropriately the Psycho-Pass film is getting it's BD release at the same time. Mamoru Hosoda's new film Bakemono no Ko is also debuting this summer and the 3rd Code Geass OVA finally comes out which looks very polished. Taifuu no Naruda could also be a dark horse movie. In either case those are probably the titles I'm most interested in. Some seasons really just come down to the films and again Summer is usually one of those.

Honestly, I've been quite impressed with Lerche so far. They are pretty young, but everything from them that I have seen has been very attractive and well animated. They are going to be pretty busy this season though, so we'll see how things end up.

^ Hmm, Gakkou Gurashi, one of the two shows I'm looking forward to, is also a Lerche production and also didn't make the list.

Yeah this is the season that will show if they are great or not. From the looks though all 3 of their series look amazing. Especially Gakku Gurashi, that series looks better than Ass Class and Ass Class looks impressive

They've been around for a long time; used to operate as Studio Hibari before refreshing their brand.

From the shows I've seen, animation is mediocre at best (although still better than Studio Hibari's older stuff), but I haven't checked out anything from them in a while.

No Lerche are subsidery of Hibari, just like Studio WIT and Xebec are subsidery's of Porduction I.G. and I.G. is a subsidery of Tatsunako. They only formed in 2011, the same year as MAPPA and WIT coincidentally. And really? I've seen alot say that but i don't see it. I think Ass Class looks incredible compared to the other shows coming out this and last season. And no derps is always a bonus. And Ranpo Kitan looks to have great quality also
