Seems a little unnecessary if you have a PS2 or Xbox. As you can still find Mega Man Anniversary Collection for around $5 less. Which has all 6 of those games plus get MM 7 & 8 and the two arcade games with it. The only upside to this one is HD.

I really wish they released 9 and 10 with this as well. Was a mistake to sell my Xbox 360 when I upgraded to Xbox One. But, I'm psyched nonetheless.

New content, you can use better controllers, AND you don't have to dig out old consoles with outdated video outputs.

If you haven't been buying the Wii U VC releases, it's a far better deal.

Okay, fans. Let's look for things to hate about this because we still haven't let go of "Mega Man Legends 3."

This collection has been done, way for this new "producer" to go above and beyond.

How's that?

No, I am not hating. But 7 and 8 really are the black sheep of the franchise, huh?

Complain all you want, but this is a great opportunity for PC gamers.

Apparently this "remaster" is being done by the same studio who majorly screwed up the recent PS4 version of Street Fighter 4.

Maybe these old school Megaman games will be too simple for them to break, but I'd be cautious nonetheless.

This is true but Atomic Planet's handling of the Anniversary Collection resulted in it having a lot of glitches and also missing certain things such as the PS1's Complete Works music (some of it on PS2 & Xbox, ALL of it on GameCube), the walking animation from the ending credits of Mega Man 7, and in GameCube's case, the controls were switched around for the worst. They hired a different developer for the X Collection and other than X3 and Battle & Chase being the European PAL versions & the Japanese voice acting in X6 getting cut, it was actually an improvement over the Anniversary Collection.

I'll be picking this up so hopefully Digital Eclipse, the people working on this release, will at least do a better job with these games than Atomic Planet did.

I love the idea of remixing robot masters. I hope that means remixing weaknesses too

I've never known Digital Eclipse to make bad compilations... so I'd be excited. (I could be wrong.)

Remember when Mega Man fans complained that Capcom had let Mega Man die off, even though there was the comic and MN6 and the various re-releases and now this? Rolling Eyes

I'll bite...

Which is enjoyable, if nothing amazing, and pretty much entirely the work of Archie Comics; Capcom just puts their stamp of approval on it.

and MN6

What? Do you mean Mighty No. 9? Because that has nothing to do with Capcom. If anything, that's Keiji Inafune's response to Capcom letting MM languish after he left the company.

Yeah, being able to re-buy the exact same NES games over and over for the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U sure was great and not a cheap money grab where they threw the ROMs in an emulator. I sure am looking forward to buying the same games once more.

Yep, another re-release of games that every Mega Man fan probably already has multiple copies of.

As a MM fan, I'll stop complaining when Capcom starts producing new, high quality MM games. I don't think that's too much to ask for, but it hasn't happened in quite a while.

Gotta disagree. Ian Flynn's Mega Man is probably the single BEST All Ages super-hero comic on the stands. Its AMAZING what he manages to do within the Mega Man framework.

As far as I'm aware Other Ocean and Digital Eclipse have nothing to do with each-other.
