Huh, and here I'd been keeping my eyes open for the release of volume 13, wondering why it hadn't come out yet when volume 12 was already available back when I went to Japan in April 2013...
Well, this is still far from the longest hiatus I've seen for a manga I follow. I don't think the seven year gap between volumes 2 and 3 of Hibiki's Magic is going to be topped any time soon. |

^ No, although I've also seen the fan theory that Yotsuba is a robot.
I'm pretty sure the "word of God" (as in Kiyohiko Azuma) on the matter is that Yotsuba is merely an orphan girl from another never-specified country. EDIT: Although, if you want to define "alien" in terms of the terrestrial variety (foreigner living in a different country), I suppose that applies. |
