This was adorable and somewhat freaky at the same time. But this was definitely one of my favorites this season so far.

I also like how the protagonist's room looks like both a teenage girl's bedroom and a mobile military base at the same time.

Is that her family or something? I'm guessing she's either a lodger or a guest of some sort in that house, considering it'd hint at something REALLY bad if the rodents' mech was meant to replace someone the other people in that household knew.

I'm pretty sure she isn't literally meant to be a mech controlled by squirrels.

I assumed it was just a weird way of showing two girls fighting over a guy. Could be wrong though.
