There's an irony in a pick up artist group running an event where macho men can meet other macho men. I don't know if they'd see the irony in it, though. Will we get pics of all the buff blokes who attend?

It definitely sounds like a lot of women might want to go there too. Or maybe just western women.

I don't know much about this group, but just to clarify, "ohimesama dakko" is literally picking up/lifting women (or whoever), as in carrying someone in a princess/newlywed style fashion, not necessarily "hitting on them" type picking up ^^;;
I guess it's sort of macho to want to be able to carry your significant other/someone/anyone in that fashion? Dunno.

Well given sumo fellas are apparently quite desirable, although that has been dropping off in recent years. I am sure there are Japanese women who also like their macho.
