I honestly hope this doesn't get a broadcast dub so that the dub will turn out as best as it can be. Some of Funi's broadcast dubs haven't had the best quality, and it takes time to dub a show like this well. The first two seasons were dubbed great, and I hope the third is as well.

I agree. If FUNimation can't get uncensored AT-X masters I would prefer they hold off dubbing it until they get the finalized uncensored Blu-ray masters (even if that means another 12-18 months of waiting for a dub). Plus I'm curious if in the long run broadcast dubs will have a negative impact on DVD/Blu-ray sales. Collectors will still want to collect but some fans may no longer have the desire to buy if they've seen a show dubbed online already. |

In a case like this it seems a broadcast dub would be easier. You have roles that are mostly reprised and the dub cast has already had 2 seasons to get used to the characters so it would be much easier and quicker for everything to follow the quality of previous seasons. |

How were the first two seasons censored? When I saw them dubbed the nudity was completely intact.

Funimation should make a stand, since their streams are not legally available on japan there is no legal reason to broadcast them censored over here. Also please remove the anti.strobe pokemon censoring from the action scenes and add an appropriate disclaimer at the start of the stream. An uncensored stream would GREATLY increase its popularity (and income) and would not affect disc sales in japan, people buy them because they want their own copy (with all the extras). |

Hoping this gets a broadcast dub. Don't even really like the series but the dub is hilarious. Plus Scott Freeman is way, way more tolerable as Issei.
Hopefully they can twist the legs of the big guys up in Nip land get the uncensored version at least for the dub. |

They are referring to when the previous seasons were initially simulcast, it was only the censored version which is what this will likely be. |

Funimation took longer than expected to secure the rights.
Guys/gals, this will be censored like the last 2 seasons. You have to pay a premium for the uncensored version and Funimation doesn't need to do that because they'll release another kickass dubbed box once it's over. Want the uncensored version... then wait for the AT-X fansubs like always! Rejoice for the Harem King returns to ITV! |
