They're charging $10 above retail value for handheld games for absolutely no reason.

Yup, which is why it should not be supported. They're literally ripping consumers off deliberately. It's disgusting.

ooh the plot thickens

as to people calling it a ripoff, its pricey yes but not a ripoff. a ripoff game would be MVC street fighter with all their super and ultimate versions. id almost be willing to call it overpriced but i haven't played it yet so i cant judge it yet

3DS games retail at $40 in the US, this being $50 makes it overpriced by default.

Not really since Capcom's updated rereleases typically retail for about $20 less than the vanilla versions. And are really there for people who didn't purchase the original games.
