Characters look kind of different. Faces seem a bit rounder.

The characters look pretty good to me. Different, but not too different... except for Haruhi, she really doesn't look like herself here...

It's basically the world from Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, except not caused by space-time tampering. Essentially, a Yuki-focused version of the show where there isn't any supernatural elements, it's just straight forward school ensemble, romance-under-the-sakura-blossoms bullcrap you can see in millions of other titles.

So, you know, completely pointless, because it removes all the actual interesting things about the Haruhi franchise.

This looks like a good chance for the VAs to warm up for the impending continuing animated conclusion to the Haruhi franchise...... if only that were to happen Sad

This was the world that I really wanted Kyon to choose in the movie. I prefer Yuki over Haruhi as a focus point, and as a love interest.

Well prefer the original Haruhi design so far, but then that's only 1 shot will have to wait and see. At least it's still Ayas voice.
