Being an avid figure collector, I'd really like to win this contest. Even more so since the figure was made by Kotobukiya and I have yet to be disappointed with that company's products.

What does it being fictional have to do with it? It's a drawing of a child's naked body. Good for you if you get turned on by it, but keep that disgusting stuff in hentai. And Yaya is a loli depending on your definition, same with Chaika or Jakuzure from Kill La Kill.

There is a huge difference between say drawing a naked human body in comparison to say drawing a fictional character in an overtly pornographic situation.
Machine Doll and most main stream anime don't even come close to crossing such a line, there might be "dirty jokes" to get the mind racing but just as well there is very seldom that content in series would truly cross the line even if taken to the context of say a North American audience.
If you have a problem with people drawing the naked human body of a completely fictional character in what amounts to a relatively benign context it is YOU who probably should check your self out for having a bigoted judgmental mentality.

Because it's perfectly normal to have characters naked and looking like little kids while trying to seduce someone. Go ahead, tell your parents that you are attracted to drawings of naked children, I'm sure they won't call you a pedophile. I was fine with having naked children in Elfen Lied because it didn't do it to make someone horny.

There have been quite a few giveaways lately. One piece, Space Dandy, Index, now Unbreakable Machine Doll.

It is amusing because apparently if someone is a fan of this or a number of other anime works they are by default pedophiles by proxy because fictional characters are in "provocative poses".
So if by proxy someone is supposedly a pedo for simply being a fan of this series what does that make YOU for associating with such a community that would be fans of similar material, Hypocrisy much?
Just to be clear, my issue isn't about the material but how certain posters have a literal prejudice that if someone is a fan of "racy material" then clearly they must be a "sick pervert" and should be shunned by all of society even if there only "crime" is being a fan of a series.

Entered the contest.
I have already ordered for this anime (Limited Edition) last night from Rightstuf. There's only 1 figurine I've ever own and it's Shana from Shakugan no Shana. I hope I get this........Even though it's likely less than 1% chance of winning it.

We need the anime equivalent of Godwin's Law. "As an online discussion about an anime with any young character in it goes on long enough, someone will eventually accuse someone else of being a pedophile."

...Are you serious? "oh, I watch porn, by proxy, I must be a pedo because some people like porn of little children!"
I never said you were a pedo if you were a fan of the series itself, I said you were a pedo if the concept of naked provocative children was a good thing that helped persuade you to watch it.
Like I said, I don't give a shit if you like lolis in porn. But I find it disgusting and I find it a bad part of the series. That's why I added it to MY list of the things I thought was bad about the series.

Makes one wonder why they watch anime with such strong sentiments about anime content. Most anime feature non-adult characters, doing things adults do. Really the characters are just place holders for adults, because of the intended audience.
Yeah, I wish we would get away from super powered student councils, the parents who seemingly abandon their kids for jobs overseas, and schools whose adult teachers and staff don't exist and/or powerless to stop the kids. That was one of the good things about Space Dandy. Adult characters. But Japan doesn't care what we want, so we live with what we can get.

Aw, the "unbreakable" part refers to the title of the show and not the figurine itself. I'd like an unbreakable figurine. It's annoying how much little kids like to run into other people's rooms to look for things to throw at other kids.

Does that mean you predict firedragon54738 to win?

To be fair, in some rough schools, the adults ARE powerless to stop the students from causing too much trouble. They are a minority in the school, after all. Even more so at my high school, where there was a gifted program, so instead of just having a bunch of sociopaths together in one place, you now you had a bunch of sociopaths with genius level IQs put together in one place.

I need this figure in my life. Heck, I just need an anime figure in my life in general. Yaya would be a perfect start.
