This looks like it'll be loads of fun. I'm hoping for over-the-top seriousness ala The Daily Lives of High School Boys.

Still stings that season 1 is only getting a DVD release. This is a KyoAni title; I wanted to own the whole series on a shiny BD set. Crying or Very sad

Oh my god, this looks like it'll be so fun! Haru's idea of a sabage... Laughing

So we have Rin, Rei, Makoto, and Nitori vs. Haru, Nagisa, Momotarou, and Sousuke? Well it was obvious that they'd put Haru and Rin on opposing sides, have to keep the rivalry going, after all. But stooping to cheating/bribery? Shame on you, Rei, that's not beautiful at all! Laughing

Literally the whole point of this episode seems to be to give us a chance to see the best friends (coughmostpopulatpairingscough) pitted against each other. Either way, looks like a good time. xD

And in a stunning turn of events, PONYCAN USA decides they're gonna release a Collector's Edition of this OVA for $75 that includes a Bang Zoom! Entertainment dub and "No matter who wins, we all lose" bumper sticker just so the North American fans can truly appreciate a messed up Free! release that spans all demographics of collectors.

I would laugh really hard...and then cry.

But no matter how Free! gets released here, I will probably plunk down the money for it. I want the message from my wallet to be that I want more anime like this licensed in English, and considering the problems that have plagued sports anime in the past...I'm not going to let even the mismatched seasons get in the way of my support. Even though I already own the Japanese releases. Whew, this series has been rough on my bank account!
