They're making a real big deal out of an OVA nobody gives a shit about.

Why isn't MB putting this many cast announcements for Ladies vs. Butlers?

Does seem passing strange. Guess they have nothing else to talk about.

Suppose so. This isn't going to save them, nobody cared about it when it was new, three years ago.

Yeah the whole release seems passing strange. Delayed endlessly. DVD only. Then they decide to dub it and delay it more, for what is still a DVD only release. Wasting a lot of time and money, for a middlingly reviewed thing people have forgotten.
Just release the silly thing and be done with it. That is what happened here in AU, we even got a BD version strangely enough.

Seems strange to promote something people really didn't care about even when they announced the license.
Meanwhile Ladies vs Butlers was supposed to be dubbed last summer(judging from their facebook page), yet we haven't heard a peep about that release.
I can understand getting Holy Knight out sooner, as it's less work. But you'd think that they'd get out the show that has more potential sales if they're looking for revenue.

A lot of women are attractive. While I do admit to being a boob guy, I have seen not so well-endowed/flat-chested women that I consider hot.

Ain't gonna lie. My first thought was...she's hot.
But it wasn't she's hot for a white girl just she's hot.
I like all KINDS of girls. I don't judge!
...I only love.

Though imo there is actually quite a few rather attractive ladies in voice acting. Which is in a way kinda ironic.

They have to raise visibility of this up somehow. Only way they gonna sell more than a handful.
Gotta put some effort into it to get some effort back.

I don't know how much money MB has left to bring more awareness to their series considering they are on life support (so to speak).

It's because the team who is dubbing this series is super excited about their accomplishments. I know someone who knows the dubbing team behind Holy Knight/Ladies Vs Butlers and apparently the staff and the voice actors, who have been trying to break into the anime voice acting industry for years, finally broke in with this OVA. So if you worked your butt off for your dream and you finally got to say you got there, then yeah, you would be excited.

From what I heard there have been delay issues with Ladies VS Butlers. Usually with 'delays' the company cannot get a hold of the Japanese materials for whatever reason and it slows down the U.S. release process.

probably cause the ova is just like with the ova version of angel sanctuary and bastard. promotional episodes to promote the manga version. unfortunately holy night while looks like it could be a good fanservice series like Queens Blade, the original is ero which is why only an ero company like Project H even licensed it & which means it wont get any traction outside of the ero otaku community which wont do for this series. the authors would have been better off for the series over all if the manga's content was more like high school dxd or battle vixens instead of making it the content full ero.

The internet promotions they're doing don't cost that much money.
