It'll be interesting to see how well this does considering Hatsune Miku being legion when it comes to Vocaloids.

I'm more interested in whether that horrendously awful game Megpoid the Music hasn't completely ruined the image of non-Sega Vocaloid games for everyone.
I hope there's a demo of this I can try at least - i like rhythm games and I like vocaloid but to be blatantly honest I don't really get the hype that surrounds IA and I dont think I've heard a single song with her that I like.
It's good it finally has a release though because its release date suddenly became undetermined for a while, despite the fact that it was apparently originally meant to come out last year.

While I'm happy this finally has a solid release date, I'm sad I won't be able to get it when I'm in Japan in March.

I'd be game for it. I haven't heard IA, so it'd be a blind leap of faith. Ultimately, I think the only thing I'd have some reluctance over is if the whole game is IA, even if I find that I like her voice. Sixty songs is a bit of a commitment to the same artist for over two hours. I hardly ever binge on any of my favorite musicians for longer than an hour at a time, let alone for a game.

It is all IA, and that's the main advantage the Project Diva songs will hold over it - they feature songs from all of the Crypton-6 (as well as better songs overall but thats individual opinion.) It also means a huuuge chunk of the songs are Jin/Kagerou Project related, which I have zero interest in.
The Gumi game was the same, however it was also terrible to the extent that it looked like a fanmade project made with MikuMikuDance, I think the most generous review I saw for it was 33%.

Hmm, that could pose to be a problem. While I liked Kagerou Daze (though my first encounter was through F2nd rather than nico or Youtube), I kind of like the diversity in Diva. Changing outfits isn't enough for me (I'm one that's more about the music than playing dressup with the modules there). In the end, I guess it breaks down to finding if I like IA enough to buy the game if it receives a Western release or someone sells it on Amazon.

There's trailers and song lists floating around if you google them, so I suppose you could always look up the songs featured and see if you enjoy them enough to justify buying a whole game of just IA.
I'll be waiting for a demo, and even then I might wait for the price drop.

Next to all the Crypton girls, IA-Aria Of the Planets is another of my favourite vocaloid. She has done quite well against the Crypton girls in composition usage. This should do quite well.
