I wonder if she has a collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards somewhere? I would be interested in seeing what her favorites are.

Now that would be an awesome sight, since Dark Magician Girl was one of my favorites while I was watching the later seasons of the initial arc of Yu-Gi-Oh.

She could have cards, but it's also likely she just likes the show itself. Yu-Gi-Oh's pretty big with fujoshi. ZEXAL is currently sitting at #6 on the Tokyo Anime Award Festival. ZEXAL also had a lot of appeal for otaku too with girls like Kotori and Rio. ARC-V is all the way down at #31, but it's still new and hasn't had time to build up it's audience yet.
