Tbh, this show surprised me. The action was good and the characters found its place well already in this show although I expect some characterization on them more later on.
Might take a little while to get used to the CGI but on most terms, I actually enjoyed this.

I found the 1st episode to be somewhat lukewarm, with a potential to be a decent battle anime. The CG was a bit wanky in places, but either it'll improve, I'll get used to it, or it'll be an eye-drawer (and not in a positive way).

This may be the most retarded premise for a show i have ever had the pleasure of viewing... I just cannot fathom what god decided that a world would be created to let girls function as war ships... I quickly jumped in to the streaming site and caught them gliding along on water surface... nearly causing my world to fall and reason to shutter...
Regardless... i will still be watching it... damn it!

It's kind of bizarre to "star" warships half of which were taken out at Midway...
And I thought the similar-themed anime with warships controlled by AI girls was a llittle off the wall! I like my imagination being stretched but they're really abusing it now! I'm waiting for them to say something that salvages this over-cute premise like by saying this whole war is actually being fought in a "VR proxy war" that both sides somehow agreed to wage in place of a real bloody destructive war to spare their homelands from destruction (I think there's a TV Star Trek ep based on something like this) and the select girls are representing actual ships in the "game". It'd make fun at least have a little more sense then.
