Dislike most of these short style episode series but these are just too heart warming to pass up.

Nice. I've been enjoying this title. I wonder if season 2 will cover the arrival of Baby Otaku.

You should try reading Ojojojo, by the same author as this one. That's one sweet 4-koma manga. I also hope it gets an anime someday.

Cool Kyoushinsha's art-style is not quite like what you see in his/her recent mangas and his anime debut. If you saw episode 11, that one much more closely resembles the style.
Regardless, I'm happy to see that yet another one of my favorite authors is getting big.

From what I remember the final scene (with that "san kyu" maternity leave understood as "tan kyu") was the latest 4 koma, so are we going to get new material (as in "good filler") or is the author going into overdrive to fill in another 12 shorts?

I really enjoyed this show. It's short, it's funny, and it actually depicts a happy, functional, established relationship. So excited for a season 2 spoiler[especially now that Kaoru is preggers. Man, ep 13 was so great! Self referential humor to start it off, Hajime being genre savvy with Kaoru's morning sickness symptoms (*loved that*!), meeting everybody he knew at the drug store, an Eva reference (okay, I didn't quite catch that one, but Reddit insists its there) and finally, the reveal and mixed feelings that followed. Just perfect.] Why don't we have a forum for this show on the anime board?
