They chose the right guy to handle this, Kazuto Nakazawa is an awesome animator.
I don't know how comparing a 30 seconds ad to a 600 episodes series makes sense, but you might have watched the wrong episodes. There is some impressive action animation and some serious talent working on that series too, although sporadically. |

That is awesome. Too bad United was unfair to Shinji Kagawa and apparently only picked him up to try and appease the Japanese market.
The last two matches were not boring, but overall yeah, United has been a terrible watch this season. |

There's plenty of football anime. Captain Tsubasa for one being one of the top anime in Europe, Asia, and South America. |

Now that's what I call an intense ad. Hell, where were these guys when the World Soccer Cup was up and going? Suddenly, I'm reminded of 'Stephen Chow's 'Shaolin Soccer'. I love short animation ads like this.
