Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL debuts new celebrity guest in second Shadow Duelist on Nov. 23

New in-game campaign rewards include an Anniversary Set and alternative Evil★Twin cards, plus 1000 Free Gems

LOS ANGELES – November 7, 2024 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KONAMI) announces the 1000 Days of Service Campaign, celebrating 1000 days since the global release of Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL with an in-game campaign and exciting new content throughout the rest of the year.

Released globally in February 2022, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL has delivered thrilling cross-platform Dueling, stunning graphics that bring the cards to life, and exciting new events and tournaments from month to month. Now an established part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL is the definitive way to play the famous card game on modern gaming platforms.

To celebrate the game's latest milestone, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL is offering a total of 1000 Free Gems to players who log in during the celebratory period, as well as a Pack Ticket that can be redeemed in-store for the brand-new ‘Geas of the Light’ pack. If that wasn't enough, players who log in can also grab spectacular in-game content, including an Anniversary Set containing themed accessories, a special edition Duel Field, Card Protectors, Card Case, Profile Icon, and more.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game fans, especially those that watched the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles animation, will be thrilled to see the alternative illustration Evil★Twin cards make an appearance in Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL. Available through the Secret Pack 'Electron Illusions,' the Evil Twin theme consists of DARK and LIGHT Fiend monsters based around Evil★Twin Ki-sikil and Evil★Twin Lil-la linking together to make a devastating combination.

If players are looking to stock up on additional Gems, there's a generous new limited sale in the in-game Store. Both the Gem Sale and log-in rewards will be available until Jan. 9, 2025.

The Shadow Duelist returns Nov. 23:

The Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL celebrations continue with the second instalment of the star-studded Shadow Duelist tournament. Last month, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL introduced the Shadow Duelist tournament: an epic showdown with a surprise celebrity guest and new unique prizes to win. This month, a new challenger approaches Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL and is set to compete with the top Duelist in the tournament.

Players can watch the action unfold and discover the identity of the new Shadow Duelist on Nov. 23 at 3 p.m. PDT on the Yu-Gi-Oh! digital game Twitch and YouTube channels.
