I am amused by the idea of male otaku going and buying all of these just to collect the different packaging.

Marketing run amok. It's amusing that the marketing can get this personal, then again there's probably Sailor Moon sex toys out there, many other anime have them such as onaholes.

Makes you wonder if the biweekly schedule was set simply to extend the veritable tsunami of merch...

And why not? After all that's the name of the gravy train. However I'd raise an eyebrow at Sailor Moon condoms, but LMAO soon after.

bet every guy would love to think about this type of thing while watching h-anime or pron (yes I know some guys have that fetish, don't know what it's called and don't want to know).

I just hope their performance will be more consistent than the anime's. Because no one wants pads that work swell one minute, and then fall apart the next…
Usagi's face and gesture in the ad, though…

I wonder if it's just ladies buying these for their own needs, or if there's moms out there buying them for their daughters.

Every female deals with it so there's really no point in calling it gross.
Seriously though, I also want to see male otaku buying these. Would be so funny.

I don't think it's gross.
It's just a wrapper with Sailor Moon logo on it. In any case, it's just more of an already established company partnering with Takeuchi/SailorMoon, whoever.
In the end, you're still gonna rip open the packaging and use it for the purpose it was made for.
