Not sure if I should be shocked or if I should wonder why they didn't have the idea to progress from mouse pads to book covers sooner.

I wonder why these news never surprise me. Never was a fan of these weird fetishes where I have to either hug a pillow with a fictional girl on it. Or touches plastic and pretend that they are real boobs with a fictional character's head. I wonder what kind of guy the designer is. Maybe one day bored in his office, he is just: "Hey! Let's combine a breast-pad with a novel for the enjoyment of reading a book!"

Funny, I was just looking at Highschool DxD merch yesterday and it's too bad none of official merchandise ever gets promoted or is even made available overseas from official sites for direct sales, except through third party retailers.
Even the store for the official Kill La Kill website is very different between the US and Japan. The Japanese store offers a whole variety of stuff from cosplay props to oppai mouse pads for Ryuuko and Satsuki. The US store only offers a CD. |

I agree on both accounts. It feels like this idea is years behind and we should already be moving into the next gen of booby merchandise. namely being body pillows with the breast enhancements. Though that probably is already a thing somewhere. And yes, if they were going for authentic Rias's size that cover should be probably 2 cup sizes bigger. Should be as heavy as a dictionary. |

Somehow, I doubt that these will much encourage reading.
How long until we get wearable prosthetic breast merchandise? I wonder if they would be sold as sets or if they'd chisel you by packing them separately.
