The Amars are perfect! Surprised
I'm really hoping that this film just kind of...reminds people that Kuragehime exists, potentially leading to the manga getting an english release (I mean hey more obscure stuff than this is being released all the time) but more importantly the anime getting a second season given that it doesn't even have an ending.

Oh wow, this looks so good! Just the little bits in the trailer remind me so much of the live-action Nodame Cantabile, which is one of my favourite things ever. I can't wait to see this.

And yes, an English release for the manga or a second season of the anime would be amazing, I need to know how this story ends! (Though I do have vol 1 in French lying around, waiting for me to read it ... or at least try to, since my French is pretty rusty).

It looks like they pulled a She's All That and got an actress who's too good looking to believably play an ugly duckling.

If there's an audience for this thing, can't we just get another season of the show?

Either this is going to be good or hilariously bad. Confused

Except Tsukimi is quite pretty in the manga too, she just tends to not care about making herself look conventionally beautiful.

All about this. The anime was super cute, but even if you just told me it was about a den of fujoshi & a cross-dressing boy, I'd still be intrigued enough.

Can't wait to watch it!

I don't think I'll be watching. It will just be like seeing the first few episodes of the anime in live action, right?

Also, the anime sold abysmally. I doubt this movie could lead to a second season, but of course that would be amazing if it did.

When I first heard they'd cast Masaki Suda as Kuranosuke I was indifferent, as I'd only seen him play a (very) sullen high school boy in the J-drama 35-sai no Koukousei and I wasn't sure if I thought he could pull off this character. But just last week I started watching Kamen Rider W and I gotta admit, he's pretty super-adorable as Philip. So now I'm even more excited about this adaptation.

They need to reclaim their primetime evening timeslots.
