Kid is one of the best characters in DC. I'm going to assume that Kappei Yamaguchi is going to reprise his role.

I wonder what this means for Kindaichi, since it airs before it.
Very interesting that A-1 Pictures will be producing the animation. I wonder if TMS Entertainment will still be a producer on it, just not animate it? |

It will end by then since it's only a 2 cour. I'm not too sure about this after seeing the studio since A-1 Pictures is a hit or miss for me. Could be interesting though. |

It was originally scheduled for 2-cour, but YTV removed the listing shortly after. It was assumed the listing was in error or got extended. But it's now looking likely to be the case (no pun intended). |

Never heard of this manga, but does A-1 just do everything seemingly remotely popular now? No wonder their animators are struggling so much and they have a bad reputation for overworking people.

Based on how they handled Silver Spoon, I think Magic Kaito is in good hands with A-1 Pictures. I just hope it doesn't cause too much stress to its workers, though.
I wasn't able to watch the TV specials before, so I'm really wondering: didn't all of the Magic Kaito stories from the manga get animated already in those specials? Or did they only select a few stories? |
