The seventh picture has Makoto's face, but when you click it it shows Ami's face instead. Might want to fix that.

I want this in my life. Though it seems like Mitsuishi is the only returning cast member from the original series.

I think that transformation sequence is the first thing I've seen that actually disappointed me. And we'll probably get that cell-shaded 3D stuff for all the senshi.
Boo. |

Princess Vivi is Queen Beryl. I find that hilarious.

Watanabe Misa has a lovely baddie voice. She should be reliable for that coolness-evilness when it comes to killing little kids.
The new footage looks so good. Can't wait. |

This is gonna be the longest 26 episode run I'd ever to follow since it's a biweekly release crey but it's something I've been looking forwards to since the first announcement!

They do such beautiful work on Pretty Cure transformations, no idea why they didn't try a little harder on such an important work. |

The transformation sequence is stunning! and a very needed change now that we are in 2014. I don't understand that one person who complained. this is 10x better than what we originally had. Beautiful work, we should be glad its back and it looks gorgeous!

The thing is Toei's capable of a lot better. Look at their work on HaCha or DokiDoki https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvlAPWcunR4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK__2qUP5Zs If it's a prototype for screening then it's one thing, but if that's the final version then color me disappointed. Though I disagree on mewpudding101's comment that it's an 'important' work. I think Crystal is a bit over blown in the western fandom in it's importance. Pretty Cure's more important than Sailor Moon. Not just because it's current/more popular, but because Toei's slowly being edged out in the shoujo market by Sunrise with Aikatsu! stealing away Pretty Cure's audience lately. They have to focus on regaining that ground and a 20 year old show isn't the way to do that. The fact Toei is giving us anything like Crystal is more fanservice than anything else. We should be thankful they're even bothering to do anything. |

I really like a lot of these new images. The transformation sequence is pretty interesting and I agree that a change was needed after all this time. It kind of reminds me of the ones from the live action drama series they did about ten years back.
