Ah so it will be Lerche instead of Brains Base...
Hmm..anyways, still looking forward to this next year! |

Did not expect Lerche to get the series, considering I had never even heard of Lerche before now.
Arpeggio was a great series, so I have faith in the staff members to make this, and make it good. |

I think it's safe to say that this may be a 13 or 26 episode anime.

They could end a first 24~26 episode season at the first Itona incident, and end a second season at the end of the island training stuff.
Alot of episodes would be able to fit 2-3 of the more episodic chapters, and it's not like all of the inbetween stuff would need to be adapted. I don't think 12 episode season would work too well with the series, but they're literally ALL the rage these days. |

*sigh* Why does Kishi keep getting work? Most of his recent adaptions have frankly sucked. Really disappointing AC had to get shafted with him.

Video game to anime adaptations rarely turn out good so even if I haven't seen the work that Seiji Kishi has directed, I hope he provides a better take here since this media is more immediately suited to adaptation into animation.
And it seems we will have a third voice cast after all, though we will be waiting till next week to know any details... |

Thank goodness that the anime will be produced by a different studio instead of Toei animation. The fact that it will air on Fuji TV means there's a chance (or accurately "risk" for those who dislikes Toei) the anime will made by Toei. The series such as Dragonball Kai,One Piece,Toriko and Saint Seiya Omega were all animated by Toei AND all of them aired on Fuji TV. Funny ain't it?
Once again. We are lucky it's not Toei, guys. |

Having not playing the game before watching the anime, I actually enjoyed Danganronpa The Animation, and I think that either way I would still enjoy it. All of the main points were there and you could still enjoy the characters. |

Saint Seiya Omega aired on TV Asahi, not Fuji TV plus it was already replaced by Matsutaro back in April. |

^Visual novel adaptations (with the exception of when tons of routes come in) tend to be easier to adapt, but it is good to read that they did a decent job with that. Regardless, I think I'll buy a Vita and Danganronpa long before I watch the anime, just because the source work is usually higher in quality, has tons of endings and it was translated into English already.
A recent Answerman addressed the topic of why some anime studios tend to work with certain producers: animenewsnetwork.com/answerman/2014-06-13/.75503 Also, what exactly has Toei Animation messed up for you to want their studio to not adapt this manga into an anime? All of the adaptations I've seen them do are passable at worst, okay, Toriko is worse than passable but they don't seem bad at all in general. |

I second this. Fans of the game seem to really dislike it, but I hadn't played the game and I loved the show. |

Seiji Kishi: The Go-To Man for Animated Adaptations of Very Popular and Hot Video Game & Manga Properties.
Though still pretty good, I'm not sure the Kishi of late is as good or quite as potent as the Kishi of yore (ex.: My Bride is a Mermaid, Kamisama Dolls). Then again, his resume is something of a mixed bag, overall. The concept behind the manga here sounds interesting, so hopefully it will all work out fine with him at the helm. |

Kinda off-topic from the forum's topic, but playing the game after watching the anime, I can guess that the fans wanted the Persona-like social links included in the anime too, a whole episode dedicated to each of them for character development. I'm sorry but that cannot be possible. I mean, there is only so much you can do while trapped in a school. Besides, each characters' personality was more than enough as character development. |

If it's not a video game adaptation (as 99% of all animated video game adaptations are atrocious) then Kishi's repertoire is absolutely phenomenal. Seto no Hanayome, Carnival Phantasm, Yugo, Arpeggio, Angel Beats, Sunred, and Jintai... you honestly have to look very, very hard to find as impeccable and impressive body of work. The people who doubt his prowess as a diretor (note that I'm not directing this to the user I quoted above) frankly make me laugh rather hard at the notion. |

Lerche? Really? F***king really? The same studio that made the crappy Danganronpa anime?
Say what you will about it's quality as an adaptation of the VN (it was still crap, a lot of the really fleshed out characters were reduced to cardboard cutouts, and the characters who were already flat to begin with were made worse) but the actual animation? Holy hell, was it ugly and stiff, and not in a way that complimented the show itself either. Now my expectations for AssClass are lowered significantly. |
