That Oreimo 2 set looks lush. I'd certainly buy it but I don't have the LE set of the first season. There was one right? I've seen a standard DVD set on UP but no other version. Great price as well.

Not too bothered about it being DVD only, I'd prefer Blu Ray but I'll take what we can get over here.

Ahh yes, I've been waiting for Oreimo 2 news for so long. Definitely getting this pre-ordered.

Oreimo II looks good, but I want the BDs. The DVDs have extremely low quality and they're not the best to encode.

Is there a BD version?

Maybe they're planning on importing a box set on BD like they did with the first season.

I bought the first season Oreimo LE and I will get this second season on preorder as soon as RightStuf gets it up. It's a little steep for a sub only release, but does include a fair amount of materials that the first season LE did not have. So, for me, it balances out.

I wish the Oreimo set was Blu-ray, though, but this is still a definite buy for me. Decently priced, too (for Aniplex anyways…)

Finally! I've been waiting for this news for quite some time. I bought the first print limited edition way last year. Looking forward to this release.

Not going to be buying either of these, despite wanting the titles badly...

I very much dislike that they've changed the format for their Monogatari releases and gone with flimsy slipcases and making multiple releases instead of one or two boxed releases. I didn't buy their Nekomonogatari releases and I won't be buying this one either. Note: I own both the Bakemonogatari & Nisemonogatari sets...

If they're gonna cut down on the quality of their packaging they should also cut down on the price of their releases, or at least one would expect them to.

While the OreImo set looks really nice it's DVD and if i'm not mistaken this is 2014.

I'll be keeping my superior quality fansubs which I didn't have to pay for. Confused

I know I should not be, but I am a bit surprised to see that Oreimo 2 is DVD-only. On the plus side, the episodes are spread over 4 discs, and the set looks very nice.

And, as I anticipated, it looks like Aniplex USA will do a release of Monogatari Second Season every 2 months. I will be sure to pre-order Kabukimonogatari.

I'll probably get Oreimo 2. I already own the first season LE (which I haven't even taken out of the shrink wrap). I wasn't crazy about the ending, but I gots to have my Kuroneko fix. DVD-only is absolutely no problem for me.

Consider how ridiculous the Oriemo 2 Import BD Box's price will be, this DVD-only LE edition is actually quite workable, of course, in Aniplex standard.

As a proud owner of season 1 LE, I was going to pick this up, until I saw that abysmal ending...which totally killed my enjoyment for the entire franchise.

Well, technically they did, since the first season's LE was like $70 MSRP versus the $100 MSRP of season two. Also, they can't possibly charge much more than that since their 2 cour (~22-26 episode) anime on DVD generally goes from ~$112 to $200 MSRP.

That said, I didn't enjoy the second season anywhere near as much as I enjoyed the first one so I'm definitely passing on this.

Considering the Oreimo LE. I already have the season one (though in SE), so why not?
