Amazon lists a 60 minute run-time for the disc which is promising.

If so, source please. Otherwise, I'm going to go ahead and assume it's at least the length of a standard episode, if not longer. I really can't imagine an entire battle being depicted in ten minutes.

They represent Italy so "ten minutes" is probably 5 minutes too long.

Anchovy looks like a very lively addition, the tank action looks fast, furious and utterly ridiculous but I just can't decide if this is necessary or not.

Just as the one Japanese tank never fired a shot, Italy being steamrolled and only being worth a headline in the wake of the rest was true to form. Going back and filling in the details of why they were beaten so easily {"tankettes" being battered by the M3? Cute but is that in character for the Rabbits?} seems like a case of navel gazing.

The anime skipped the Anzio fight whereas the manga (if I remember correctly) skipped the Saunders fight. It's a fun OVA that definitely isn't anything of the sort of naval gazing. Supposedly the movie will be a direct sequel to the TV series. This OVA is just something to tide the fans over (because things do lose a sizable chunk of fanbase if the property is dormant) until the movie is completed.

Cool. More Girls und Panzer's always a good thing. If Sentai gets this, however, how will they release it? Another ova set? bonus on the movie (if they ever get that one)? Can't wait.
