Well I guess sales will go down for physical, but digital sales may go up (probably) for this one.

Given the extreme sexual nature of Project-H's properties, do they really need to concern themselves with ONE chapter that depicts strong violence? Really?

Indeed. I can certainly think of worse things that could be cause for potential concern for Project-H than some depiction of violence, but that's just me.

I though this was America! Huh, isn't this America? I'm sorry, I thought this was America!

No but really, violence being the thing excluded over sexual content? That's a first.

Edit: just skimmed the manga, the violence is about the same you'd see in Berserk and is only there for like a page or two. Big whoop, why did they feel the need to cut this?

If it was a scene of pedophilia or child molestation or anything that show a underage or prepubescent in a sexual situation, then I can understand. But graphic violence, that's the part that baffle me. Confused

I can say the same too.

Dumb move. This is a book that is read and can only be purchased by adults. They shouldn't be cutting things out of it.

Checked the work in question and, uh, not too sure where exactly you can actually spot the violence among the 'other' stuff.

If I'd make a guess, it's probably one of the flashback chapters that got hit. It is extreme in its content, but... Violence? Really? Even the old Sorcerer Hunters manga by TokyoPop would have it beat on that, and that without ratings anywhere close to 'adult'...

In short, their legal department said no to sex and violence involving children.

The part that was concerning was it's focus on two things. Mainly the shota aspect and the violence towards children.

More info here.

Just a question as I can't find an affirmation; Is it explicitly stated anywhere that the digital version includes that chapter?

Makes absolutely no sense for an adult 18+ imprint to be censoring anything. Bad business move, since it makes all their catalog suspect.

Don't think people can comprehend this. Or they wanna see a kid abused.

Yeah, gotta look to see if they excluded shotas being abused elsewhere eh?
