I wonder who'll be in the cast...
Apart from that, it's an interesting enough premise, and I can always use more Vita games. I'll definitely think about picking this one up when it's released.

Sounds like a fun game.Thinking of buying it so more games can get localized here and it doesn't seem like a bad buy.Now to get my hands on a Vita.

Since it's common knowledge that Xseed said no to Monster Monpiece that's ain't saying a lot. That and the content is much more extreme.

Are you sure XSEED would've done the same to MonMon had they licensed it instead of IFI?
Dunno about you, but I think "stripping loli in monster costumes (nearly) naked by rubbing the screen" is at least one level above "stripping vampires and expose them to sunlight".

- Starting with Wild ARMs 4, Xseed has localized dozens of Japanese games and Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed takes the prize for the most voiceover lines. The action game set in Akihabara has almost 10,000 recorded English lines and took 16 days of voiceover sessions. As a comparison, Ys: The Oath in Felghana only took four days.
“This is the biggest voiceover project ever at Xseed. Part of the reason we’re doing it is we feel this game can appeal to more of a mainstream audience and just not otakus,” said Executive Vice President Ken Berry. “This project would be very easy to just put in English subtitles, but we all feel this game is a lot of fun to play and we want to make it as accessible as possible.”

Xseed’s script includes a Star Trek joke where one of the nerd characters in the game yells “Shaka, when the walls fell.”
Speaking of strip action, Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed has some brand new content for the West. The game has unlockable strip portraits which you can use as wallpaper for the game’s menu, which is designed like a cell phone. The Japanese version only had female strip portraits, but Xseed’s release includes brand new strip portraits for male characters.

Yeah it's common knowledge XSEED said no because they already have too many projects and are overworked. Heaven forbid they pick up more projects to overload them even more.

It's pretty much the same thing... stripping underage characters is stripping underage characters.
An employee of XSEED not speaking on the behalf of XSEED already said they would have handled Monster Monpiece much differently. They would have passed the images to ESRB and asked if they had a problem and THEN censored if needed.
IFI censored the game and then submitted it for approval. That's the big problem here, they did things in the reverse order of how it should have been handled.
