If you guys haven't been following the news, a group planning a documentary got permission to dig up the New Mexico landfill where all of the copies of the Atari ET game were allegedly buried.
Well, the dig was today, and we now have confirmation that it was not just an urban myth. They found copies not only of ET, but of centipede and Missile Command. Cris Kohler has been posting pics over on twitter as they find stuff. |

Ha, cool. While it didn't seem completely implausible, I always figured that this old story was more or less just an urban legend. But I guess not.
