Looks like Space Dandy is a hit after all! Don't underestimate the power of a Dandy guy in Space!
Although the earlier start might have something to do with the ratings as well...

alright, thats good to hear. I mean, realistically, its still not probably as good as a rerun of Family Guy I'd imagine, but the fact that it is doing this well is a good thing

I'm satisfied that Pokemon is growing more popular with its XY series.

Adult Swims ratings get worse as the night goes on.

Looks like Dandy is helping to bring back the early 2000s boom of late night anime on American TV, ie the era I grew up with. Pretty exciting stuff!

One Piece wasn't mentioned and it's still airing new episodes, oh no. They're getting to the point, too where things start to pick up a whole bunch

And what point would it be? Fishmen island?

I'm glad Space Dandy is helping bringing up the rankings, it's definitely interesting to see every week and I've been having a blast seeing it with my friends at college every week!

still hate Dandy, and I still think the real lack of competition is what's driving these numbers

It's an interesting enough series and it's on at 11:30, not 3 or 4, that helps a bunch for people watching it live and not time shifting. But as far as Toonami's rating go, the only competition is SNL.

Last week the actual numbers were
11:30PM Space Dandy 1.211 million viewers
12:00AM Bleach 1.291 million viewers
12:30AM Naruto: Shippuden 1.193 million viewers
1:00AM One Piece 968,000 viewers
1:30AM Blue Exorcist 870,000 viewers
2:00AM Black Lagoon 876,000 viewers
2:30AM Naruto 785,000 viewers
3:00AM Ghost in the Shell 626,000 viewers
3:30AM Fullmetal: Brotherhood 603,000 viewers
Thats generally how it looks every week: shows up front get better ratings and shows late at night get lower as viewers go sleepy time. And yeah I'm not sure how much glory there is at being #1 at 3 in morning when your competition is reruns and infomercials. Not like it's primetime where you get bragging rights.

Well at least anime is doing well on tv that's all ways a good thing but hell not just on tv seems funimation sentai filmworks Viz and others are all putting lots of stuff out and if you look at how slow 2009-2011 were then id say anime is hit it's boom in NA again and that means the fans are doing something right {buying anime}
