Noitamina has a lot of memorable females. But if I had to choose my Miss Noitamina, it would probably be between Hiroko (Hataraki Man) and Akane (Psycho-Pass). Hiroko is awesome as a working woman in a man's world, and I admire her dedication. Akane came a long way from where she was at the beginning, and I enjoyed watching her change and come to her own conclusions. Nodame (Nodame Cantabile) and Iku (Library Wars) are also strong contenders.
As for Mister Noitamina, I'd probably go with Yuki (Tsuritama) or Yugo (Silver Spoon). While they don't have the cool factor like a majority of the guys on the fan list, they are more relatable and their personal struggles speak to me more.

For such a mediocre series Psycho-Pass sure is popular in Japan.

Psycho-Pass is an excellent show. but it is way over represented here.
Taki from eden of the east should have been mister noitamaina or yugo from silver spoon.
also I like akane but definitely not best of material, maybe nodame or menema from ano hana or a bunch of other girls but not her.
also please tell me who voted for anything from gulity crown other then music and animation.

lol. Excellent show, but these votes are pretty biased to newer material. Nodame ftw

LoL, best Sakurai character. XDDD
I would have liked to see GinSaji win something, and Nodame is definitely too awesome to pass up as well.

I can see why Psycho-Pass is the clear favorite. It pretty much gave the Noitamina block its Attack on Titan. A breakout show with a good pedigree and a unique story is guaranteed massive attention.
However, I'd have to go with Ms. Akashi from The Tatami Galaxy for Miss Noitamina. She really represents the unique kind of intelligence and sophistication the block has presented over its broadcast. Also, The Tatami Galaxy is one of the best anime of all time. Honorable mention goes to Caroline from Paradise Kiss and, of course, Akane from Psycho-Pass.

Definitely would have voted for Nodame and Morita-san. Oh well, pretty standard for the newer series to get the votes for this sort of thing.

Google says this - "of only average quality; not very good"
We are on the internet though, so it means "popular thing I didn't like".
As for the vote, pretty much as expected, newer stuff with the biggest gems from past series sprinkled in. I don't really disagree with a whole lot of it though. Would have had Nodame higher myself, maybe Takizawa as no.1 instead of 2 (but that's a coin-flip to me).
I absolutely would have had Kuranosuke Koibuchi from Princess Jellyfish on there myself, kinda disappointed to not see him there.

Makishima Shougo, honestly, the character himself was amazing from the start so imho, any VA will perform him at Sakurai's level or even better.
Psycho-Pass as mediocre didn't even strike my zone at the very least. It wasn't still concluded so far leaving it for more improvements or additions, but like most people think, I thought it was an amazing title.
But as far as fan vote's concern, I don't like Akane much of a character but well, congrats to her.
Kougami so far is the coolest out of the top male contenders but I am really rooting for unorthodox characters such as Ozu. He was Tatami Galaxy's X-Factor...
