I'm still sad that NO ONE has licensed the original movie in North America

Well, technically Warner Brothers owns the US rights to the movie......

I CANNOT WAIT for this (though I guess I'll have to, huh?). The first movie was fantastic.

Cute little wordplay in the tag line: Normally, it would say "最強の敵" / "Saikyou no teki" / "The strongest enemy," but here they've replaced 強 (strong) with 狂(crazy), which is also pronounced "kyou" when combined with other kanji.
As for the movie, bring it on. *Loved* the first one (which I seldom say about live-action manga adaptations), and hope they can maintain that level of quality.

I believe Warner Bros. also distributes for Viz here in the U.S. But I don't know if Viz would be willing to dish out that much money for a license. Would make an awesome tie-in for their manga distribution, though !

The movie won´t feature the mech from Evangelion for his master to fight ? A Shame.
