I only knew him as Kiyonaga Matsumoto from Detective Conan, but despite that, still a major loss.

R.I.P Seizo Katou

I always thought it was cool to hear his voice, still working at his age and sounding as good as ever. He only stopped working in 2011. I know the Yahoo article says he started as a seiyu in the '60s, but according to an interview he gave, he started in 1958.

I only really heard him as Megatron in Scramble City and Headmasters. He'll be missed. Sad

RIP

Man also played a lot of tokusatsu villains, including Changeman's Bazoo, Zyuranger's Great Satan, which most MMPR kids will remember him as that evil floating head with spikes and Kamen Rider BLACK RX's General Jark (pic below).

May he rest in peace.[/img]

I love the voice of Megatron and Galvatron in the Japanese version of G1 and Headmasters, such a pity, may he rest in peace.

He was the oldest actor to of voice Zenigata for the Fuma Conspiracy movie. Also did voice work for the second and third Lupin TV series. May he rest in peace.

As Megatron, he ties with Frank Welker, as Galvatron he ties with Leonard Nemoy but greatly surpasses Frank Welker even if the voice was the same.

RIP

Pretty terrible way to kickoff the Transformers 30th anniversary. He'll be missed.

Transformers design team member Shogo Hasui did a nice tribute drawing on Twitter. Now we need a new Masterpiece Megatron or Galvatron with talking base.
