But... what?

If that sentence ends in "replaced the original illustrations" I will cry.

This could be really interesting, and might help promote light novels a bit more. Here's hoping its a good one! I'll be reading it!

Artstyle and plot summary strike tons of Guilty Crown vibes for me, which I love.

I've been reading the manga and it's pretty decent. Might check out the novels if it's available in a moble format.

I see the novel ranked 3rd in Best SF2012, but I must say the manga is somehow uneven in both art and pacing - and in fact it got axed somewhere at the end of the first arc (maybe?)

Sidenote:
The book doesn't include redjuice's illustrations.
In order to get those on paper, you have to order this jewel
http://www.kadokawa.co.jp/shop/sp/shop_sp_243.html, ISBN 9784041105986 .
If you're fine with jpg -> http://beatless.jp/gallery/

Oh, and that wallpaper smells of anime project...

Wow, sorry about that, no idea how it got published like that. The sentence was meant to read:

"supercell member redjuice (character designer, Guilty Crown) provided the original illustrations for the novel, but Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, HAL) and animator Satoshi Kadowaki (chief animation director for Guilty Crown and Attack on Titan) will provide "animation versions" of the illustrations for the English version."

And it is fixed now in the article.

I've seen the novel in Newtype with it's lovely Redjuice illustrations, but being a text novel I hadn't a clue what it was about.
