Still, Nintendo did one of the best Mario game ever, for what I read around. Playing it with my boyfriend on day one, I can't wait.

XIII and XIII-2 were the two best selling games for the PS3 in Japan, but I'm not sure if Lightning Returns will hit the 3rd slot to round out the top 3 with the Lightning Trilogy. Japan is becoming less and less interested in console games in favor of handhelds. I think that's part of the Wii-U's problem.. Mario does AMAZING on 3DS, but Japan just doesn't seem to be biting for consoles anymore. I think consoles might start being more of a western focused thing while Japan sticks with their 3DSs and Vitas. I'd be interested to see how much the PS4 sells in Japan when it releases. I doubt it will sell anywhere near the amount of PS3s, which in itself didn't sell anywhere near as much as the PS2. I know I have no real interest in a PS4 at this moment  not until they announce some nice JRPGs for it anyway.

But dont take too long, Sony always cheapens the console and take out hardware features. First or second model are always the best option (in case of vita, now the first is the best).
