The ranking and ratings of the series seems back to normal now, instead of the past weeks ups and down, with Pokemon XY entering the ranks.
As always, I am super happy with Uchuu Kyodai that is becoming more or less a regular member of the top 10 anime, sometimes its out but we see it regularly.

It really deserves it but for a seinen anime to be that high !!! it certainly beat's out Naruto and HunterXHunter every week which gives me to think that young pepole in Japan must watch it to.
They must not have expected it to do so well when they started it.
Also just how many Seinen anime actually get that many episodes ?
I know monster has 78 and even if you even want to count legend of that calactic heroes for the hell of it (101) there isn't anything left.
it's certainly on his way to becoming the longest Seinen Anime of all time Golgo 13 and JoJo have way more manga but not as Anime.

Hunter x Hunter is a late-night anime since October 2013; just saying.

I'm afraid that title belongs to Shin-chan. ^^

Shin-chan is a children's anime, definitely not a seinen.

Shin-chan was published in a seinen magazine, therefore it is seinen.

Nope, I just didn't know that Shin-chan was originally in a seinen magazine. Just like I would think Yotsuba was from a kid's magazine if I didn't know otherwise. Isn't Shin-chan presented like a family show in Japan, or is it more Simpsons-like in mostly courting an adult audience?

Definitely a family show. But that doesn't change the fact that it's considered seinen. Doraemon has a lot of adults watching it too but it's still kodomo, One Piece and Conan also have a lot of adult viewers, doesn't make them more seinen than shonen.
