It's funny because I was just looking to see what the status was on this manga yesterday and saw that it hasn't been updated in almost a year. I stopped reading it a few years back, but I still have enough love for DGM to see how it's doing every now and then so I was wondering if she was sick again or something?

There haven't been fan scans in a year, or the manga itself hasn't updated in a year? The schedule for monthly manga volume releases is always spread out, naturally, but the 24th just came out, so...?

The new volume is just collecting chapters from late 2012. The manga is still on hiatus as far as I know. This year Hoshino only wrote one chapter in January as well as a one shot

Its really sad to see this series go so far down hill. I started watching the anime when it was first released many years ago and it remains one of my favs. I only wish they would have someone work with the author or take over writing to complete this manga so the anime can continue.

Forget about the anime, I'm seriously concerned that Hoshino may completely abandon the story at this point. Is there any confirmed explanation for the hiatus this time? If I never get to see Kanda become a general as was promised in one of the last chapters, I'll never forgive her. T^T

Been watching this anime since it was released a long time ago, still one of my favs.....every year there seems to be good or bad news regarding this anime because of the authors health. I just want her to finish it like everyone else wants her to.....but wow I am turning 32 soon......so what, am I going to have to wait till I am in my 40s or 50s to watch the rest of this anime, I already am married with two kids that are in school already and I started this anime when I was single.....if she can't finish it she needs to give it to another author to finish it before I start having health issues.
