You're a stronger man than I. Just reading the review made my brain hurt--and not in a good way. |

I was reading this review on break at work and had to resist the urge to burst out laughing. A bizarre tale that has piqued my interest.

Dammit, you beat me to it! And here I was, ready to copy/paste that exact same line and say pretty much the exact same thing. That could have been the entire review and it would have worked for me. In a massive coincidence, I stumbled upon this title in the ANN Encyclopedia merely two or three days ago while searching for another film starring a mythical creature named Coo. I didn't think much of it at the time (although seeing Julian Lennon as the theme song composer made me do a brief double-take), but after reading this hilarious review, I'm determined to check it out. |

Given that the French did kill a Greenpeace activist in 1985 when they planted bombs on the Rainbow Warrior the story is not that much of an exaggeration. http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/november/3/newsid_2538000/2538099.stm |

It's a bit of an exaggeration to mow down an unarmed kid with a hail of machinegun fire and have an entire military diversion to catch a baby animal, I think. Don't get me wrong, French people are Evil. Especially French Canadians. |

Um. I seriously have to hope that is sarcasm. :/ From this review, this movie actually sounds very good to me I want to see it now. (Maybe its just because I have a thing for sea creatures) |

Subtle isn't a key word here then. It does sound interesting, if only for the sheer wackiness however.
Killer dophins? Most likely killed dolphins. I hadn't thought of the Greenpeace incident but it does raise some interesting context considering the hush hush atmosphere. I doubt the French would not show some remorse over killing children, but propaganda is hardly unbiased. |
