Pretty fantastic! I really hope this one gets enough funding so that we can get AD Police a new HD master, get new english dubs for them, soundtrack CDs, and all of those other goodies. Even though I haven't seen Bubblegum Crisis yet, since I've always meant to, $50 (includ. shipping at the early bird special) isn't too bad to get the best version of a show that's supposed to be this awesome.

Just made a pledge at the $40 level. Hopefully this is as successful as Time of Eve (which I also backed), and we may see more of these in the future for projects that would otherwise never happen.
Relating back to the Answerman thread, maybe this is the only way we will ever see an LoGH release... Still not holding my breath though.

It's already at $22k now, so it getting fully funded seems likely. It seems all the trouble in getting LoGH is from the licensors, but starting out with the three features would be a great icebreaker.
Also, it's amusing how they're trying to sell the BD with a 360p video. Try harder? Or can they not do that until this get funded so they can even access the HD materials? Guess they won't be able to advertise how much better the BD looks over the old garbage DVDs.

Damn, almost all of the pledge tiers/rewards are gone!
There's only the basic blu-ray itself and the premium tier, which doesn't come with the extra goodies in higher tiers but allows for input into the extras it seems.
I guess that's a good sign, but it sucks for folks getting in just a few hours later

Again, if anime fans have $75k to blow on BGC on Blu-Ray and $600k on Little Witch Academia, what the hell's the hold-up on crowd-funding AnimeSols? Creamy Mami's got less than 10 left to reach its goal, and Dear Brother has less than 15 to raise $3,500.

That is one thing that surprised me, and might hold them back a bit. Compared to Time of Eve, their higher tiers were very limited, both in terms of dollars and available quantity. Not sure what else they could offer though.

Yeah I understand with the original cels and production items the higher tiers offered it would be pretty limited. But some of the physical items are not necessarily limited, like the little metal figures, garage kits, models. New commissioned artwork is one possibility too.

config: Some of those items might be limited in the sense that Animeigo has to negotiate with licensors to approve their sale.

Hardly six hours and it's over $30,000.
I wonder if it will be at the $75,000 mark when I wake up tomorrow to make my pledge.

I'd love to pledge but living in Canada $60 total with shipping is a little too much for my blood.

I put in my backing, hoping for the best!

I hope they flash the licensors the wad of digital cash and try to get in on that BG Crash, it would make a very nice stretch goal.
