I am genuinely surprised. Perhaps times are changing after all? Games like this never get localized. Look at Idolmaster.

If we can get a VN on PS3 at retail, and Steins;gate in a LE for PC and possibly on Steam, anything is possible!
Oh, and there's also Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F, can't forget that one as a harbinger of the times!

Actually I'd love to see Steins;Gate on PS3 along with steam, hell I'd love to just see more VN's on PS3.

As long as they keep their expectations reasonable, they should be fine, especially now that there's digital distribution as a reliable market to offset costs. The West (even just English language) is a very big market and not monolithic and can support many different tastes. Variety is a good thing, and that goes for any market. That's why we support any market to release as many different types of things as possible.

This. Not even going to lie, I bought a PS3 just for Neptunia a month ago so I'm probably going to do the same with a PS Vita =w=

Now this is a surprise. No one has seemed to want to take a shot at localizing this type of raising sim, so good for you NISA! I guess I'll get myself a Vita now for Christmas, as the game library is starting to get there.
Maybe if this does well, it'll get someone's attention and maybe just maybe some of the Idolmaster games will get localized also. Is that too far-fetched a hope?

I totally did not expect this. No, really.
This game could be for testing the Western markets to see their reception, because I heard the Idolm@ster series was quite popular outside of Japan or something. Unless I'm wrong?
This game is much simpler than Idolm@ster though, so that might turn off those used to Idolm@ster-level complexity.
IMO for this kind of game, subs will do. I doubt that dubbing over the songs will ever work well, and dubbing over the dialogue but not the songs brings about a certain dissonance that I'm sure will turn off quite a number of people. But that's just me, I don't know the general market.

Is this guy the same producer from the Idolm@ster series?
Quote: | As the girls' popularity rises, they will be able to join one another in singing duets, or maybe even come together for a full ensemble! |
Sadly you can't form groups of more than 3 people.
