As if I need a reason to spent more money on Xbox 360/Wii market place stuff. Also considering the sales ADV has on a regular basis I end up waiting for those anyways....well besides Le Chevalier D'eon but this is still a nice thing to see.

Neon Genesis Evangelion. "This time, it will definitely be the absolute ultimate, re-mastered, high-def version!" Very Happy I'd say that's an easy way for ADVFilms to make money.

*L* "Now in widescreen." DON'T HIT ME! Razz

Really, ADV, don't put Evangelion up there off the bat. You have a billion shows to pick from, pick on that drain dry. The kids sure like Full Metal Panic. How about Azumanga Daioh? Heck, Elfen Lied is crazy enough to work, but damn you if you pick Evangelion as your first round pick.

Sweet! Anime's taking over Xbox Live without people realizing it. Pretty soon, the majority of XBL subscribers will watch anime! Laughing

Yehey, annime is really becoming generally accepted in all kinds of shape and form...

BWAHAHAHAHA...

It's not only for watching anymore but also for playing in a wide screen, high def, surround system, i dunno and all those technical terms when it come to gaming paradise...(sorry, XBox isn't popular here, PS2 is still reigning here since PS3 was just released last december 2006 in the Philippines)...

Because really, why buy a DVD for thirty dollars when you can buy an Xbox for a mere $400?
I wonder if this will work out.

Wha? How could you even make that argument.

I'm going to need to see some more details on this before I make up my mind about it. How do TV series' usually get treated on Xbox Live?

Hmm well if your only aim to get a Xbox 360 is to watch anime then I wouldn't get it, it is a game platform...you play games on it, being able to download and watch anime or other shows on it, is frosting on the cake...And good frosting at that. Wink

I much rather play games on $400 system. The only TV episode I got from the video part of marketplace is that free HD South Park episode.

Since the only incentive to buy most anime DVDs, outside of the show itself, is extras which are mostly credit less opening and closing theme, trailers, or "interactive menus". Since this is digital distribution we are talking, there is a good chance are there won't be any Japanese with English subtitles. What's the point of buying a $30 DVD when you can get 3 episodes for $6 if you like the dub.

But all this talk might make me a cheap, bad guy again. Razz
