I just finished watching the anime of Basara, and I adored it. But since it was never finished, I really really want to find the mangas, since I desperatly want to know more of the story. Has anyone here read the Basara mangas? Are they any good? (I assume they are Anime hyper) How available are they, as in, would book stores still be carying them? Has anyone here even heard of this series? Anime hyper I hadnt untill recently, I stumbled across it quite by accident.

There are 22 volumes of Basara out from Viz, with Vol. 23 due out in May (the whole series is 27 volumes). Since the series is still ongoing, you should be able to find it pretty easily, though you may have to special order the early volumes if they don't have 'em in stock. They're all still in print, though.

And no, I haven't read the book yet. I have the first volume, which I bought because of a STRONG recommendation from a friend (a friend who normally doesn't read manga, no less), I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

I LOVE Basara, I am on vol. 21and there is 27 total. if you have watched all the anime then your about at manga 7. They don't have much basara at Borders, but it was at my library in Flordia. I had to read the scans online but I think you can order most at any anime store.
