I'll say this about Pivot, they have some good programming.

Would be nice to have that channel back on my cable so I could watch and support it.

Would be great for them to also get other NoitaminA shows too.

Just the first four episodes, and with a rather bizarre scheduling scheme, too. I'll still give it a shot anyway.

Okay, the channel may be very new and obscure, but it's nice to hear when more anime is airing on TV over here.

I have to ask... out of all the anime there is, why did they choose that? (Whoever "they" might be - the channel, FUNi, the Japanese companies...)

And... this wasn't advertised at all? It just kind of... showed up on their schedule?

This sounds kind of odd... usually FUNi would post about this kind of thing somewhere.

Actually, it appears that C-Control will have four more episodes (episodes 5-8) premiering the next Sunday:

http://www.pivot.tv/schedule/Central/10-13-13

No idea what they'll do after that though. Isn't C-Control only 11 episodes? They're either going to end up with an uneven block of episodes or they have something else up their sleeve.

Well, it seems Pivot TV is quite an "intelligent" channel from one look at their schedule. C-Control is about finances, which is an intelligent subject, so why not?

I have no idea if Pivot advertised this on-air or not, but it's not mentioned on their site anywhere except the schedule.

FUNimation did make a rather incorrect blog post about it: http://www.funimation.com/lee/blog/c-control-on-pivot-tv/7921986

The link to FUNi's blog is in the article.

I DVR'ed this last night and I must say it's one of the most intriguing, yet bizarre new anime I've seen in a while. While I'm surprised it's not getting airplay on a more mainstream channel, it would feel a bit out of place on say... Adult Swim. Well, today's Adult Swim. The one that's more likely to pick up new episodes of a shounen show over something like this.

Did anyone else notice the little poll at the bottom that appeared like, 10 minutes in? I went to the link (http://takepart.com/now), and there's nothing there about C-Control or the student loan pledge.

You have to do a little digging around to find the stuff relevant to the themes of C-Control.

Only stumbled on this last night channel hopping while waiting on my girlfriend to call me back (she's quite the nocturnal creature to say the least). I honestly forgot that I get this channel most of the time. Was an interesting way to pass the time, but honestly, if it wasn't for random luck I would have never known this was on at all. The scheduling doesn't speak too well of things though if it premiered at 4am. Hopefully this doesn't end up as the only anime on the channel like Deltora Quest was with The Hub.

I just checked the schedule again and even though episodes 3 and 4 will air tonight (Sunday) at 8pm, episodes 5 and 6 might not be airing this Saturday morning at 4am. Instead, those episodes seem to have been moved to next Sunday at 2am! If this random shifting keeps happening, I may just look elsewhere to watch the rest of the show.

You know, I think Eden of the East would be a good show to air after this. It's from FUNimation, it also deals with money a bit, so why not? And Pivot plays TV-MA stuff so they should be able to run it uncut.

I thought the 4am showings were ridiculous, but that takes it to a whole new level! That's a death sentence if you're putting your anime on at the same time as Toonami.

It's competing against Sword Art Online. It'll be just fine.

EDIT: It appears that C-Control won't be the only anime seen on Pivot...watching the We Are Legion movie, in the 4chan segment, there were images from Idolm@ster, Madoka, and Steins;Gate.
