Like I know an Anime ends and thats really it unless it gets a second season like Full Metal Panic.
But as we keep geting new stuff and new viewers the line between waiting for the next or just watching it all in one go is kinda preplexing I guess what I am curious in is : Fruits basket stops at 4 discs while the Manga it looks like I saw 17! At comic con Awesome! But wow will that hurt my piggy bank FLCL Anime 6ep 2 Manga *Poof* no more  Need more
Death Note... The movie is coming out so does that mean its over? Or is it still being made ? Trigun, every time I hit the book store there seems to be a new book, kinda got lost trying to keep up after the Anime and a few books Excel Saga, Manga i scoped last at 16 Anymore ? Super Gals? Err Gals Full metal Alchemist? |

No, it doesn't need more. The entire point of FLCL was Naota's maturing and realizing he still had a while yet to go before he needed to start acting grown up (where when the series began, he continuously fronted that he was "grown up" and, ironically, acted very immature as a result). Now that he's straightened himself out and Haruko's gone into the wild blue yonder, there's no point in continuing a completed story. |

There will be 23 total volumes of Fruits Basket manga, and there will not be a second season. This has been known for a couple of years now.
Death Note stops at 12 volumes of manga. The movies have nothing to do with the manga or the anime storyline and are simply live adaptions. |

If this is a question of "will there be more of [so and so anime/manga]?" I'm going to say again that speculation is pointless. It's nothing but wishful thinking if you've already collected every bit of media for one title and are expecting more. If what you have is all there is, then that's that. Until someone in Japan decides to do something more, or if we have a super-duper rich philanthropist amongst the forum members that is willing to shell out his/her own money to carry out such a task, then this thread is just simple rambling with little to discuss.
If I'm wrong in guessing the purpose of this thread, then I apologize. I'm having a hard time understanding it:
