Here is hoping that Shout Factory releases Animated in widescreen.

I too would love to see the 1986 movie get re-released since its very scarce on DVD, I was fortunate to obtain the 2006 DVD which now sits next to my G1 DVD collection, Live action blu-rays, & the Beast Wars & Machines DVD collection.

Nice to know that Armada and Cybertron will be released on DVD, but knowing Shout! Faction...*le sigh*

What's so bad about that company?

As for this, don't know about Armada and Animated. Heard Energon's not that great, and already have earlier dvd release of Cybertron that Paramount released. Heck, here's my TF collection, aside from the first two movies:

Madman in Australia released the movie on Blu-ray. Works fine on my unmodified Region A player. I think the disc is A/B region-locked rather than region-free like the OOP UK BD.

I'll consider that for an option, if the movie will never get a Blu-ray release in the US.

Then look for the Paramount release of Cybertron: The Ultimate Collection, as it is in my pic above. Closed captions pop up if you turn them on your tv.

It would be nice if Shout put out the Japanese versions, but they're not Discotek so that's unlikely.
