They even skipped over what I would have been seeing them in the swimming pool in swimsuits. I didn't get any of who I most wanted to see. For those of you who read my reaction to Highschool DxD, it was pretty much the same thing in this series, although I knew it in this one straight away, still did not change anything.
Damn you Nyaruko-san.

Episode 10
Kirigiri is sooooooo mysterious. But then again, that's what I like about her.
Regarding the 16th student, it's likely the dude (Mukuro) that tried to attack Naegi at night as well as setting the trap at the indoor facility. Genocider Syo was strange to watch as usual in the latest episode as well. Even though Togami usually behaves like a jerk, I think he does have quite a genius mind of leading others and formulating tactics.
However, there will be a trial next time and I believe the remaining six students will try to find the mastermind. In other words, there's someone else pulling the strings here.

Episode 10
There does not seem to be much to go on for the murder of number 16, unless Kirigiri has actually been replaced by her evil twin. The obvious answer seems to be that number 16 tried to kill Naegi, and Kirigiri killed her to protect him. Maybe Monokuma did it? Maybe 16 killed themselves to kill everyone else? Maybe 16 killed Monokuma's controller, set them up as the body, and then took on Monokuma's role?
And lol over no one being worried about the Serial killer, she got some good appearance this time.

I don't know how you can guess wrong. Besides the 2nd case, it's always obvious who the killer is, even from the little hints they showed in the anime.
As for the identity of the murdered victim and what her death implies, here's a little hint Odin used Gungnir against Fenrir.

my guess is that the 16th student was some kind of maniac and wanted to kill everyone by killing himself and making everyone believe that it was kirigiri. Thats why his name had to do with despair smth

The story moves to 5th floor.
Things are getting more interesting.
I just can't see how they're gonna end this in the next 3 episodes.
There are still too many people left..
Unless they're gonna figure out the way out and escape.
Think this anime needs more episodes.
Wtf?! This is just a reality TV show??
This anime just got more confusing...

How many people left is not important. I think they are going to find a way to kill the damn bear and go home.

I like how Makoto character is drawn, but the rating votes for the entry for this anime in ANN database has significant portion of low marks.
Why is that?
Is it because authors stretch characters reasoning and actions here and there, leave a lot of plot holes, and/or it is because totally different issues such as the show not following exactly the computer game or leaving out some characters?
I am asking because I can leave with the latter (as did not play the game so I do not care), but if the anime makes no sense and authors pretend that viewers will not notice whatever inconsistencies or other nonsense, then my "BS-meter" will ringing all around and I will not be able to enjoy the project fully.

What is the reasons for that? |
it's a super condensed version of the game, so many things are going to either be rushed or completely cut out for the sake of time. so people who have played the game probably don't like that

With this, maybe I could watch the anime. I would certainly hate the cuts if I was playing the game, that is guaranteed. But since I did not play it and the show can somehow still make sense even with those cuts, then I can live with it.
Thanks for the input.

@MaxSouth It's also not just this anime; as soon as an anime comes out or long before it is done airing, it will have a lot of unjustifiable negative ratings. It's either done by trolls or people that watch the first five seconds and decide "no tits; boring."
The ratings start skewing more positively after it is done airing (those of us who watch something through don't typically rate and change our ratings every episode). Also as it gets away from its initial release, more people that intentionally look for an anime of X genre end up watching it and rating it favorably.

Some of the things they cut just make the show look stupid.
For example, when Leon points out that any of them would have killed if they were in his shoes. Kirigiri instantly points out how stupid his logic is. Maizono was injured and she ran away. Leon went to his room and came back to kill her with the right tools.
That being said, I wouldn't mind if the anime had little in common with the game. The way it is, it just completely spoils the game.

That raises another question, genre. From the encyclopedia:
Genres: action, horror, mystery, psychological
Action isn't right at all. Mystery? I tried it as a mystery and got stymied quite rapidly and "Puzzles" doesn't work either so maybe "games"? Psychological? I think the characters are too shallow and cliché for that heading; Additionally, as each one gets a "Greatest" title, it's hardly fitting for its sibling title "suspense".
Horror? I'd like that if it was true but anything that gets a "huh, that happened" reaction from me, it's usually because it's "torture porn". And the guy who kept posting what was set up for other characters if they were found guilty didn't help...
I was supposed to find that entertaining or interesting? Why? I did find it "Ironically Amusing" as at first but after considering the premise, everyone's set up for failure. It was all a matter of who would go first.
So, in the end, what do we get? Torture porn and games? Actually that explains my overall reaction a lot for what I've seen and probably all I've ever see; Really don't care anymore, never cared that much to begin with.

That is probably the best way to describe Monobear/Monokuma, which is really the heart of this anime that pumps the blood that is the story. Torture porn is something I really don't like, and is probably why I have reserved thoughts over parts of this show, as it is kind of thing that appears in a lot of death games, and I have a dislike in general to death games (like Btooom or Hunger Games).
