Just watched it and didn't stop laughing.
Anybody know the details on why it's only 8 episodes long and if there's a sequel of any kind?
This was some serious comedy and I recommend it to anyone who's looking for something to laugh at.

You can only keep a show like this going on for so long. In this case, it's eight episodes. The "Dokuro-chan hits Sakura with Excaliborg and blows his limbs off" thing gets really old after about the first four times she does it.

But the opening video and theme makes it worth watching over and over.
And I like how it goes from cutesy to uber blood vains in a second.

"Club-To-Death Angel Dokuro-chan" was an OVA series, and they rarely go as long as 8 episodes, much less longer.
That being said, I would love to see this one licensed. (Though I'd be a little surprised if it actually happens.) I saw the first four episodes at a 'con in 2005, and laughed harder at them than any other anime I've ever seen.

Absolutely.
I suppose the vulgarity of it would get a bit tiring, it just seems odd to me that such an original and hilarious series can only be enjoyed in such small amount.

I don't know, it is a bit repetitive but I just can't get enough of Dokuro-chan beating to death Sakura (I plan on voting for Dokuro-chan all the way in the Crazy Character tournement...or at leats til she goes up against Excel). If they did make a sequel I would deffinatly watch it, maybe it will have more of Dokuro's sister in it, I thought she was pretty cool I also thought her weapon was pretty funny since I like to towel whip people to (it was a towel right?). It really was funny how everyone treated him...to think he would invent a machine that would lolize women in the future. I hope it does get licensed but like Key said it probably won't.
