R.O.D.: Opinions?

Speaking of Rightstuf, they also have R.O.D the TV + the two TV OSTs for $80; I just can't tell if they still have it in stock (but they haven't taken down the listing). Just look for R.O.D MegaBundle. (Not sure if linking to retailers is kosher here, so I'll leave it at that.

Well, I don't know if Read or Dream is officially connected to R.O.D the TV (thought it shares characters), but if it was, the manga would come somewhere before the TV series. It's basically different stories about the Paper Sisters solving crimes/mysteries and various other adventures. A bit more lighthearted fare than the Read or Die manga (from what I've read of Dream so far).

It's alright with these forum as along as what you link to is on topic (We keep most retail items in the retail forum) and it's not a bootleg.
And yes it appears that this ROD deal is still available normally Rightstuf will put item no longer for sale when they sell out.

Cool maybe I will check those stories out sometime when I finish all my .hack Manga, and my GITS stuff.....I have way too much anime. But I am interested in how these books are.

The Geneon liner notes are also really good for this series. There are some interesting interviews with the creators who mention they would love to do a film next which would be as different from the TV show as the TV show was from the manga or OVA. They really like the idea of changing formats for this series.
