From the team that gave you Macross Zero comes a new mecha anime titled Engage Planet Kiss Dum. Details about this new title are sketchy, but this is something Macross fans can't wait to see.

Actually Macross fans are eagerly awaiting Shoji Kawamori's latest project in the "Genius Party" anthology series, titled, "Space-Time Wars"
Unless "Engage Planet Kiss Dum" is a re-name of Kawamori's current project, I am not so sure about your assertion regarding Macross fans. Granted the studio that produced Macross Zero did an amazing job. So in that respect the show will be anticipated by more than just Macross fans. |

When I think of Macross, I still think of Haruhiko Mikimoto character designs. Only the orignal Macross, Macross II and Macross 7 all shared that Haruhiko Mikimoto look and feel. But other than Aquarian Age, he hasn't been involved in active character design for animation in quite a while. I am not a mecha fan anymore so even though I like Shoji Kawamori's works (only his old Gundam and Macross designs), this new project does not have me very excited. But thanks for the info, if it's a more character driven show I'll check it out. Who is the director and character designer?
